Visualisation

WASP provides visualisation services in support of scientific research within the University of Western Australia and, more generally, researchers across Australia. Researchers with visualisation problems are encouraged to contact Paul Bourke to discuss their requirements. In addition to the depth of expertise and the consulting services offered, the WASP also provides some specific resources that includes the following.

• High performance graphics cards for realtime graphics applications.
• Specialised interface hardware such as haptic tools and 6 DOF trackers.
• Novel display environments, for example stereoscopic display and immersive dome environment.
• A range of software solutions for solving both general and specific visualisation problems.
