APAC Summer School in Computational Science; QUT Brisbane from 4 - 8 Dec 2006. [more info]

WASP hosted the 2006 OzViz conference on the 30th and 31st of October. Web site: ozviz2006.wasp.uwa.edu.au. OzViz series of workshops was started in late 2001. The aim of the workshops is to bring together visualisation practitioners from Australia and New Zealand in order to share their ideas and work, in an informal atmosphere

The call for Swiss ALPS (Advanced Large Projects in Supercomputing) has opened on June 19th.

Let us briefly remind that the ALPS initiative aims to enable scientific
breakthroughs by way of very large computational research projects.
Projects are accepted for a period of 2 years starting as latest 1st January 2007. Proposals may come from researchers or consortia of research groups from institutions based in Switzerland or international collaborations involving such researchers.

Proposals should be submitted by August 25th, 2006.
